1. The red button at left resets the clock

3. The clock doesn't wait for the first wheel nut. Every 100'th of a second counts here, just like on pit road.

5. When the 5'th wheel nut comes off the wheel slides out on a spring. You can add a 'tire carrier' to assist this movement and then slam the tire back home for maximum speed.

7.  Push the tire back in, reverse the air gun and keep the trigger pinned. No-one wants to get beat on pit road.

2. The air gun rests in a holster with a switch. Pick it up and the clock starts

4. Spin around the wheel hammer down and get those wheel nuts off. OFF, not LOOSE; leave one by just a single thread and your driver is losing positions.

6. As the wheel comes off the hub the green half-way light comes on.

8. Tighten all 5 wheel nuts and drop the gun back into the holster, but get them all tight. Leave just one loose and your time is no good.
