Each fall, the Simcoe County District School Board (Barrie, ON) presents a
special day for schools all across their area.
"Explore the Trades" allows students to get hands-on demonstrations from
many local businesses, whether welding, carpentry, auto repair, painting
etc. and provides insight and inspiration for them to consider a trade
for their future occupation.
For the third year, the Pit Stop Challenge was also there to entertain and
challenge the students, and again, a great time was had by all.
Thanks to all the organizers, teachers and volunteers for this important
and valiant effort to help students find potential direction for their
lives.
